I’m so excited! I’ve always entered the giveaways on Sew Mama Sew’s Giveaway Day, but now I have my own blog and I get to be the one gifting something!

Quick introduction: I’m Lorinda; find out more about me here. My favorite social media platforms are Instagram and Periscope, but you can also find me on Flickr, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook.

Here’s a few pictures to give you an idea of what I do around here:

You can also check out my Color Play Friday and Finished Quilts pages to see more of what I do.

Now let’s get to the real reason you’re here!

  2. That is an awesome bundle!
Next year I have planned: make a quilt for the EMS auction and make a baby quilt for my boss. I’m so excited about both! And they both need to be done before May – I am not a quick quilter so I need to get busy!

    1. I am very excited for your series, Cheryl! I’m curious to see what I’ve been doing “right” and what I should improve upon! I know what you mean about getting side projects finished to make room for sewing, though!

  5. You had me at Alison Glass ;)!! Hmm… next year? My mind is still reeling trying to figure out how I’m going to finish my projects for this year! But let’s see…. I hope to make more progress on the quilt I’m making for myself (I haven’t touched it in over a year, I think), and get better at saying “no” to other obligations/projects. I also am hoping to have a Farmer’s Wife quilt top finished–OH! and Finn’s baby milestone quilt! I hope to finish that by the end of 2016 since he turns 1 in June! Sooooo many projects, and these are only the ones I have partially begun already! I’m sure more will jump into my “MAKE THIS” pile as we go! Phew! I heard a nasty rumour that I have reverted back into a no-reply blogger (what!?) so juuuuust in case: thenightquilter at gmail 🙂

So wonderful to meet you via Blog. Thank you for sharing your Alison Glass sweet treet and Kona’s:)
Just learning foundation paper piecing and have only made small wallets and a pillow top. So 2016 I will delve into a paper pieced table topper and quilt:)
