Group Classes

I teach both one-on-one lessons and group classes for beginner to intermediate sewists of all ages. To learn more about scheduling one-on-one time with me, visit my Private Lessons page.

Taking a class with me or setting up a group lesson is a great way to learn some new skills and have fun with friends. I believe that learning something new should be both challenging AND fun, so in my classes, you’ll not only get technical instruction, but also a whole lot of encouragement!

To set up a group lesson:

As every group has different needs, please fill out the form below for group lesson information and rates. In your note, please include the number of students, their ages (if under 18), and your goals for the class.

Upcoming classes:

Unless otherwise noted, please contact the shop where the class is located to register.

Come explore the concepts of hue, value, saturation, and contrast and see how they apply to your quilting projects on a practical level. We will get to know some of the science behind our color choices, start to trust our instincts, and learn to bring attention to the areas of a quilt that you most want to showcase.

By Your Side Quilt at Quilting Mayhem

Come play with spectrums and transparency while making the beautifully modern By Your Side quilt. Designer Lorinda Davis will walk you through all the steps of cutting, piecing, and assembling this quick-finish pattern. Once you’re done, you’ll want to try it in all sorts of color variations. This quilt looks beautiful both with a limited palette or as a scrap buster!
